Parents in the school

How our Parents are Involved

At Bright International School we truly believe that to deliver an outstanding Cambridge Education for our pupils, the relationship between the school and parents must be one underpinned by excellent communication and absolute trust, both ways. With these two things in place, we will be well-set to deal with any issues that may arise within our community.

Each day, the Principal meets the parents and pupils at morning drop-off and is always available for private meetings to discuss any matters relating to our students. As a school, we always encourage issues to be raised early, so as not to allow escalation and further worry.

Parents are regularly consulted and asked for input into many relevant school policies, and these transparent collaborations ensure our policies are balanced, effective and clear.

Activities & Events

The school runs regular social events for both the parents and the local community, and parental support in these is encouraged and greatly appreciated. Each year, parents are invited to join the school for our many performing arts events, such as Carnival, the Christmas Concert and the school play. The Christmas Bazaar is another hugely important community event.

Our wonderful parent group are often our best form of marketing, and their support both at Open Days and marketing the school throughout the Algarve is invaluable.

As we continue to develop our sports programme, parental participation will continue to grow in this area.
